Urodynamic assessments are one of the main activities of the Sexologic Evaluation and Neuro-urologic Follow-up Service.

Urodynamic examinations allow the evaluation of the functioning and coordination of the bladder-sphincter system.

The filling of the bladder and recording of bladder and sphincter pressures are made through a single use sterile probe inserted into the bladder.

A second intra-rectum probe records intra-abdominal pressure.

All these exams are coupled to a recording of the electric the striped sphincter of the membranous urethra.
